The word went out to find this special cat a foster home. He was an immediate favorite, but he still needed a place to go. He was affectionately dubbed a “Baltimore fold” by the caregivers who had gotten to know him. The mites were also responsible for his distinctive look with his stubby ears, damaged from so much scratching, Gepetto looked like a Scottish fold, a breed of cat with folded-over ears. Gepetto’s medical issues were quickly assessed and addressed: He had an upper respiratory infection and needed some teeth extracted, and he had ear mites. Fold taskboard windows#
If you do not have a backup process in place, please see my post titled Backing up using File History (Windows 10) or Backup using Windows Back and Restore. Unfortunately, the backup did not include Windows customisations and so I needed to recreate several folder shortcuts on the Taskbar. Luckily the client had a backup schedule in place and so the restore process could begin.
Fold taskboard install#
Long story short, I was able to source a new hard drive and install it within 24 hours. It’s a computer users worst nightmare and occurred in the middle of an important week of work. Last week one of my clients experienced a hardware failure on their main computer.
